NTLP has a variety of equipment available for interested library staff to check out or to use in our office.  Equipment check-out is only available to employees of NTLP partners libraries. Bookings must be made by staff from NTLP member libraries, and the member library is responsible for the equipment.

Please contact NTLP to schedule an appointment to use equipment or to check out a resource.  Please bear in mind that we have a small staff and our responsibilities often take us out of the office; scheduling an appointment helps us ensure that a staff member will be in the office to help you when you come.

Portable equipment may be checked out for up to 14 days, unless the policy for the specific equipment (see below) states differently.  An extension may be requested prior to the due date, and additional time may be granted if another library has not requested the equipment.

Return portable equipment to  the NTLP office.  Staff will make sure that all items are in good working order when returned, as well as when they go out.

The borrowing library is responsible for the complete and prompt return of all items in their original condition, and is responsible for the cost of loss or damage.  NTLP staff will determine the extent of damage and the cost of repair or replacement.

Return postage is the responsibility of the borrowing library.  All items may be mailed or shipped (U.S. Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, etc.) to: the NTLP office.  NTLP no longer participates in the TEXpress courier service.

Items too heavy or too fragile to mail should be picked up and returned to the NTLP office by a representative of your library.
